01 — Overview
Designed and launched dsalliance.io, the full public-facing website and primary digital presence for the Decentralized Storage Alliance (DSA), a vendor-neutral industry consortium founded in 2023. Built entirely in Framer, the site represents 9+ member organizations including Protocol Labs, Filecoin, Seagate, Intel, Akave, Seal Storage, Titan Network, Curio, and Western Digital. The platform covers DSA's mission across three core focus areas: Cyber Storage & Resilience, Data Sovereignty & Compliance, and AI-Ready Data Infrastructure. DSA is intentionally "not a crypto project": it is an enterprise-grade industry body bridging traditional storage infrastructure with decentralized innovation.
02 — Challenge
A newly forming industry alliance with a complex, technical mandate needed to establish credibility, market presence, and a clear value proposition from day one, without a playbook, prior brand, or existing web presence. The subject matter (decentralized storage, Web3 data infrastructure, AI-ready data systems) required careful translation for audiences ranging from enterprise CTOs and CIOs to government policy stakeholders and regulated-industry compliance teams. Member organizations included Fortune 500 hardware companies alongside emerging decentralized tech protocols, a positioning challenge as much as a communication one.
03 — My Role
Served as Operations & Strategy Manager and the sole designer and builder of the website. Owned the full digital presence end-to-end: site architecture, visual identity, brand voice, and content, all built in Framer. Simultaneously led external communications strategy, co-produced research publications and position papers, and coordinated across 9+ member organizations to align on messaging, research priorities, and public-facing content.
04 — Approach
Designed dsalliance.io as a multi-section enterprise platform in Framer, structured around five core areas: Mission & Focus Areas, Member Organizations, Research & Publications, Blog, and Membership. Developed the brand identity and voice from scratch, positioning DSA as a credible, vendor-neutral body rather than a Web3 project. Co-produced research outputs including position papers (e.g., "Data as an Asset Class"), enterprise guides to decentralized storage, AI & DePIN frameworks, and IoT/telemetry data architecture reports, distributed across enterprise and government channels. Established editorial and communication standards aligned with DSA's technical and policy focus.

Launched dsalliance.io as DSA's live public platform, currently accessible and active. Published 5+ research pieces and position papers including "DSA Position Paper – Data as an Asset Class" and "What is Decentralized Storage? An Enterprise Guide." Established DSA's brand presence and external communications from zero, giving the consortium a credible professional identity in a competitive and technically complex market. The platform continues to serve as DSA's primary channel for member recruitment, research distribution, and industry engagement.
