01 — Overview
Built the Phase 0 Governance Framework end-to-end for a $300M+ capital investment portfolio. The goal was to create a structured, auditable process for how capital projects enter the pipeline, from initial concept through scoring, prioritization, and formal initiation.
02 — Challenge
Capital projects were entering the pipeline inconsistently, without standard intake criteria, scoring structures, or clear decision gates. This created prioritization confusion, compliance risk, and significant delays between project identification and initiation.
03 — My Role
Led the framework design, process architecture, and prototype development. Coordinated input from engineering, finance, grants, and regulatory teams. Translated complex multi-stakeholder requirements into a structured governance workflow and a working digital prototype.
04 — Approach
Mapped the full project lifecycle from concept to initiation. Designed evaluation criteria, scoring frameworks, and documentation standards. Built an interactive HTML prototype to demonstrate the workflow to executives and stakeholders before full implementation. Used Claude to accelerate process design and prototype iteration.
